OCRE is taking part in the EGU General Assembly 2020 that has been in session since the 5th of May and due to close on the 8th.
The General Assembly is the largest geoscience event usually held each spring in Vienna however due to the COVID-19, this year's event is held online.
The European Geoscience Union (EGU) is Europe’s leading organisation for Earth, planetary and space science research and it counts about 20 thousand members from across Europe and many other regions.
The EGU's vision is to realise a sustainable and just future for humanity and for the planet.
EGU helps advance fundamental and applied geoscience research by publishing nineteen scientific open access journals in collaboration with Copernicus, organising geoscience events such as the General Assembly and, promoting geoscience through awards, education, outreach projects and, policy recommendations.
